There’s nothing wrong with going a tad bit trendy when you tame it down and deliver a nice balance of everyday wearability with a little bit of star power. The handmade acetates in matte finishes are a cool perfecting touch.

Name Origin: Minnesota

Bob Dylan was born in Duluth, Minnesota on May 24, 1941, and later moved just northwest to Hibbing. In 1959 Dylan left Hibbing to attend the University of Minnesota, where he eventually settled into a secondfloor apartment above Gray’s Drugstore. Dinky Town, in particular the coffee house “10 o’clock Scholar” is where Dylan met other local musicians, and where he heard Woody Gutherie’s solo recordings for the first time. Half of the tracks for “Blood on the Tracks” were recorded in Minneapolis in 1974 and Dylan and his brother David saved the historic Orpheum Theatre in 1979, allowing the next generations to enjoy the 1920’s vaudeville venue. Further down Hennepin Avenue, a beautiful kaleidoscopic mural of Dylan by artist Eduardo Kobra titled, “The Times They Are A-Changin” takes up an entire building facade on the corner at 5th Street.
