Twenty-five years ago, I started my love affair with eyewear. The industry has been good to me, connecting with decision-makers every day and building professional relationships. Being a reliable partner is not only about having the most exciting product in the bags, it’s also about connecting with the offices and bringing value to the visits, working side by side to build a practice’s success. I know the market, fashion trends, and business strategies for success like the back of my hand and love to bring that knowledge to my beloved Optical Partners.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WHAT YOU DO?
I love getting to hit the road and meet different people, see different places every day! Each practice is different and has its own story to tell. Developing connections with optical professionals and having them trust me to tell their stories through exciting product and strategy is a dream come true! I get to be a part of their world, their story.
INTERESTS AND HOBBIES?
Collecting objects such as silver dollars, art and antique fans let me relax and dig into the nuances of the design features and the history embodied in these items. When I put myself in the shoes of the people making the pieces or consuming them, I learn about the long-term influence of good design and can stand for excellence and ingenuity in the world.
FAVORITE FRAME AND COLLECTION?
The OGI collection is a home run: vibrant colors, made-in-Japan quality, accessible price point, Oh My! I sing the OGI song everywhere I go to champion the unique and flattering styles.
