OPTICAL EXPERIENCE
I’ve touched so many facets of this magical industry. After graduating and starting out as an Ophthalmic Dispenser, over the years I wore many hats (and many pairs of eyewear). I worked with International Optical Companies in various roles— as a Territory Manager, a Regional Sales Manager, a Dispensary Manager, a Product Manager and an Optical Designer. I traveled to Europe, worked with factories and then owned an Optical Shop with a lab on-premise. When I visit you and show the collections, I can understand the DNA of your business quickly and offer recommendations and powerful solutions that support your success.
why do you love what you do?
Supporting so many independent businesses, each with their own identity and personality, it’s wonderful to see accounts that you love, succeed in a big way.
interests and hobbies?
Like a true salesperson, I love fashion, traveling, and listening to music, especially when on the road for work, because no one can make me change the station!
Would you prefer being invisible or rolled in Glitter?
Definitely glitter: I’m always leaving a lasting impression.
Favorite collection?
Oh that is an impossible choice, they’re all so spiffy! OGI has always been about spreading a happy energy with color and perfect fitting. Seraphin collection is timeless. Red Rose is forging new style frontiers with its thin-line minimalistic construction and trend-right shapes. Why stop at just one frame, or one favorite?
What should you know about me that no one would believe?
I met Celine Dion in her dressing room back stage and chatted up eyewear: I even sold her on a frame line.
