This style is a keeper and will grab your attention longer than a Minnesota Goodbye. The color play with the novel technique of laminating and pushing the color forward adds a nice articulation to the design. The shape gives that look at me now, but don’t let the good times end, feeling.
Name Origin: Minnesota
The Minnesota Goodbye can take anywhere from 10-40 minutes (or longer) and is generally a 3-stage process. It begins with the "Get Going" stage where the initial intentions to leave are vocalized. The "In House" stage consists of saying goodbyes while still in the gathering space and involves a lot of hugs and chatter. The "At the Door" stage consists of continuing the goodbyes while jackets/shoes/accessories are found near the door and can take even longer during colder weather. The goodbye will continue with the door open, and guests partly or all the way out the door.
