Pops of color at the brow give a nice flirty wink. The step- down cutaway in the temple and front add dimension to the acetates. We adore the upswept gaze of this bestselling butterfly shape.

The Miracle on Ice occurred on February 22, 1980, during the Olympics. The US hockey team were considered heavy underdogs, while the Soviet team were coming in as the heavily favored four-time defending gold medalists. The battle for gold raged throughout the Games, and to the shock of the world the youngest US team to ever play in the Olympics beat out the Soviet team to take the gold. The young team was coached by the University of Minnesota’s own Herb Brooks who recruited a mostly Minnesotan and Midwestern group with the team itself consisting of twelve Minnesotans. ABC anchor Al Michaels gave the moment its name by declaring: “Do you believe in miracles? YES!”. This journey to the gold was so amazing that Disney took the story to the screen in 2004 allowing new generations to enjoy the Miracle.
