A bigger brother to The Bank, Tailgate rounds things out. One size up and equally as stylish, the very stunning rectangle is a fantastic way to update your look and still be a winner in the game.
Name Origin: Minnesota
Midwestern states love to tailgate, and Minnesota is no exception. The practice is thought to originate with the Battle of Bull Run in 1861 where Union supporters cheered on “Big Blue” while eating from baskets of food. Tailgating as we know it likely began with college football, with spectators of the Rutgers v Princeton game of 1869 enjoying food and beverages before and during the game. Minnesota football is no exception to the tradition, with the Vikings having 3 official lots while the Gophers offer a whopping 16 designated tailgate lots. These days, tailgating in the Midwest is a beloved tradition that has expanded to most college and professional sports, but also to concerts, festivals and other outdoor activities. The difference in Minnesota, as always, is the temperatures braved for the revelry.
